Nice invitations with a few minor flaws
Jo from VA wrote on May 23, 2014:

In general I was happy with the invitation quality and thought they were good value. The paper and envelopes were nice weight, and I liked that they were something a little different while still being fairly formal when done with the right font - we used the engravure block print. However, there were a couple of minor issues that kept these from being 5-star for me: (1) The date in the lower right of the front flap was skewed significantly right of center on mine. I'm not sure if this is a flaw in the template or the printing process (I'm inclined to think the former since the names in the upper left were fine), but on the sample it was fine and then on my actual invites (with a different date and font than the sample) it was off. I did not order a digital proof for these since I carefully proofed my text prior to submitting and just assumed everything else would be fine, but in hindsight it's possible I might have been able to catch this issue if I had. I debated contacting customer service about this but in the end decided it wasn't worth the hassle and I would just live with it, so I can't speak to whether they would have corrected the issue or not. (2) We ordered the "matching" reception cards but the ink did not match. The reception cards were not done with thermography like the invites, and the ink was a significantly lighter purple with maybe even some glitter - if I had to guess I would say it looked closest to the orchid glitter ink in the sample packet, versus the passion thermography ink that was used on the invitations (and ordered for both items). To me a "matching" reception card should truly match (and if not that should be disclosed up front), but again, I decided to just live with it. All that being said, I still thought they were lovely invitations overall, but it would have been nice to just have been completely thrilled with them (which I would have been without those minor issues). Also as another reviewer had mentioned, plan on an extra $.21 postage since the post office has to hand-cancel these rather than running them through the machine due to the bow. However, the hand-cancelling is a nice touch anyway : ) We had a custom map printed on the inside of the reception cards (at additional cost) since there is not a matching directions card for this set - you just have to note in the order comments that you would like to add a custom image to the inside and then email customer service your image. I paid for the digital proof of the reception card specifically to make sure they got the map right, and I would definitely recommend doing that for anything custom because it required several back-and-forths to get it positioned where I had in mind. It actually still ended up being IMO "upside down", so that if you open the card like a greeting card (rather than vertically) you're looking at the map upside down rather than right side up; that may be my fault for not catching on the proof, I don't remember whether I co

Really beautiful

These were even prettier than I had expected. Opted for purple lining on inner envelopes, and they matched perfectly.

Horrible experience
UnhappyCustomer from NJ wrote on March 26, 2014:

Invitation quality is ok. Envelopes are too simple , there is not any type design. Customer service is the worse. People in charge of the production dont know what they are doing, too many mistakes. I received the wrong envelopes, and when reordering took more than 3 weeks on getting the correct ones. They would never email you to tell you whats going on with your order, or if they are missing a file for your order. I had to call them so many times, and everytime they will said oh we couldnt find your file, oh you send the wrong file, oh production is close at 8pm nobody works over orders after 8pm. Personally i don't recommend using this website, you will regret if you do believe me. People think that oh im sorry will help, the time its precious and mostly when your time to give out invitations is running out.

Excellent quality and arrived within a couple of days.

We really liked the quality of the invitations and envelopes. They were an excellent price, as well as giving an additional discount and free shipping. The paper quality was great, the printing was professionally done and we couldn't be happier.

I would have ranked it a 5- however, there was one misprint- and it was a common word. Their was spelled Thier. (I do blame myself- there is a "make sure to proof read for final print" I just wish Dawn would have done a double check and question the spelling.

Make sure you know how to tie a nice bow

The Ribbons and Ruffles invitations are great! Good paper quality and nice print job. I didn't want to struggle with putting my invites together, and it came all nicely separated with everything I needed. I did have to tie the bow around the invite, but if it didn't come separated it would get squished in the mail! Very Happy with the timing it was sent to me also.

So happy!!!

Invitations arrived very quickly. For the price, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality. The paper was textured and printing felt slightly raised. I'm in love with them and can't wait to send them out. I'm happy I could find a good quality invitation that was half the price of invitations on other sites, and they weren't as pretty an elegant as these. We had to call customer service, and they were so nice and responsive.

Exactly what I was looking for!

Wedding invitations were perfect and at the right price. I only wish there were more font size options. The return address on the one envelope ended up being a little too large, but in previewing my design, I thought the next smaller size font would have been too small.

Great Invitation/involves a little work!

Everybody loved the invitation...just takes time to tie the bows!

Purple fun

Absolutely perfect!

I ordered this invitation for my wedding. It arrived quickly and was exactly what we had personalized on the website. Everything about them was perfect! The font, the ink (there's a slight shimmer), printing quality, and the paper quality were all excellent. The only drawback is the inevitable folding of the invitations and tying of the bows. My fiance and I just worked on it while watching TV, though, and got 100 of them done in about 3 hours.

Beautiful!

These invitations are beautiful! I am very pleased with how they turned out and they match my colors perfectly! The one drawback was the unexpected need for extra postage. When I brought one of the completed envelopes to the post office to be weighed I found out that extra postage was needed because the knot in the ribbon made it too thick. The entire time I was looking for invitations I was aware of size and weight so that I could avoid extra postage. I did not think the knot would be a problem; unfortunately it was.

Loved it!
