We loved them as soon as we saw them and they were even BETTER when they arrived!

This is our wedding invitation. As soon as we saw it, we loved it! We are having a morning wedding on the beach. It is perfect! We were able to personalize it and really make it our own.

Nice but shorted

I product was nice but had to limit my guest list because I had many blanks in my order. I did not have time to reorder more....I had already paid.

cutest idea ever for beach theme
Lil Ballou from MD wrote on February 04, 2014:

Really impressed with the overall quality and look of the product. Only down side is there was a lot of folding, took my husband and I two days to go through and complete all 120 we ordered (took a lot of breaks so we wouldn't lose our minds). One side note for all invites that are specialized with messages (as we choose to do), definitely double check your work. We did, but since we filled out all the wedding details at the beginning of the process we didn't think that they would not be used once you decide after that step to personalize your card. Therefore, the time the wedding starts was a piece of info that didn't make the cut of the final piece (yes, even two people double checking we didn't catch it). Would be nice if there was a spot at the end of the order process that said, 'these are the details of your wedding that you told us, did all info make your personalized message?'.... that reminder would have been REALLY nice :)

Perfect theme for our beach wedding

My fianc´┐Ż proposed on the beach in front of Adirondack chairs and these invitations were perfect! They helped create the perfect theme of our beach wedding taking place on 11-12-13. The invitations were such a great fit; they were even mentioned in an article we were mentioned in USA Today,

Loved it all, except the $75COD Charges

We are getting married on the beach, and this was PERFECT for our invitation ant Thank You cards.I have already recommend the site to my Travel agent to recommend to others, as I loved the customer service, I loved the final product, and how quickly we received it.I am very happy with everything that has to do with Invitations by Dawn, however, the UPS COD that was charged at delivery was not expected, and a very unpleasant $75 surprise. We were told either it is paid or invitations go back.An unexpected additional cost.Allison

Love the chairs

These were perfect for our more casual beach wedding. We didn't want anything to fancy and these fit perfectly. Good quality with no problems at all!

I ordered these invites for my wedding this summer. We're having a beach wedding, so these were absolutely perfect! I loved that we could order a sample first, just to see what it would look like in person. I have to admit, I had my eye on a different invitation first, but ordered a sample of this one just in case...and (obviously) we went with this one! Neither of us are formal people and our wedding will be informal as well, so being able to personalize the invite, reception card, and RSVP was key.

Just what we wanted!

I ordered these invitations for my wedding. We our having a casual beach wedding, and we knew after ordering the free sample that this invitation would best capture the spirit of our event.

Nice looking invitations, bad service
Unsatisfied bride from MA wrote on July 15, 2012:

Great looking invitations, but your customer service was terrible. After you botched a dozen of our wedding invitations, we found your customer services reps unhelpful and unsympathetic to the issue. We will not be recommending you to any of our friends.

Even better than we expected!
Second Time's the Charm from MA wrote on May 22, 2012:

We liked the real thing even more than the sample. We chose the "slate" ink and it looked very nice. Another reviewer mentioned needing the two-ounce postal rate; that's probably true for most people. But in our case, we had the invitation itself, outer envelope, unlined inner envelope, and a reception card (no envelope) and conveniently managed to sneak in at exactly 1.00 ounce, so we had a much wider selection of postage.

Great Invitation

These are just the perfect invitation we were looking for, for our OBX Sept wedding! The look goes with our relaxed, kick off your shoes & enjoy the sand theme.

love the simplicity!

Perfect for a beach wedding
dwhite from TX wrote on January 11, 2012:

Adorable invitation - using for a casual beach wedding. Invitation stands (sits) on it's own when put together. Once guests figured out how to put it together I got many compliments.Cons - takes extra postage to mail. Invitation is just a little too big for the envelopes but they do work. Some guests had difficulty putting it together correctly - couldn't immediately see that it was a chair - did fine once it was explained (then came the oo's and aahh's)

Very cute but needs directions
Ashley at Tranquility from FL wrote on January 05, 2012:

I bought these to use as an early invitation to our destination wedding in the Florida Keys. They are cute enough to sit on the counter for a few months so I liked this option better than doing a traditional invite or a fridge magnet. They need to print directions on the portion of the chair that would be hidden when assembled. Most of my guests had no idea that it was even supposed to be a chair when they received them.
