When I first received the invitations, the purple ink color I had wanted was not like the proof. I called and customer service was very understanding and sent a new set of invitations! The color the second time was right on and beautiful-- I received many complements on the raised lettering and the colors. But, the major disappointment was when I received the response cards. The ink was completely smeared on the response card and the envelope. I hope my guests did not have this on their invitations too! Very disappointed by that lack of quality. Also, note that the invitations only have one thickness for paper. The paper was a lot thinner than I expected.
My invitations are beautiful!! Premium matte paper, colors are perfect and exactly to order!

The invitations were beautiful, I just wish I had spent the extra money and ordered better quality paper for the invites. The only downside is that the ribbons on each invitation had to be tied by myself which took some time but not too bad once you decide how you like each to be tied.
More difficult than getting my dress!

The price was good. I had requested proofs, but for some reason they did not reach my email twice. The color of the paper and the peticoat ink were different than in the picture. When I finally got the proofs, instead of ecru, the paper looked white (where the names are shown in the front, and in the back). I called customer service to ask about it, and they told me they were pretty sure they were supposed to be ecru because the envelopes were ecru, and told me that, just to be safe, I should accept the proofs with the comment that the invitations and cards were printed in ecru paper. When they arrived, they were in white paper! I called again and they told me they would get it fixed and mail me new ones overnight. One week later I had received nothing. I call again, and they told me there had been a problem and the invitations had not shipped; that they would print and ship them. I finally got them yesterday in ecru, but the peticoat ink (the one shown in the picture and in the sample I had previously ordered) did not look like the picture or sample: it looked yellowish! I had picked that ink color to match the background. Bottom line, I do not love them, but I'm tired of going back and forth with them. I guess that's the problem of buying things online. If you're a perfectionist like me, invest a little more and see and touch a real proof before getting your actual invitations.

These were perfect for my invitations, and I got them 2 days after ordering! The ONLY con was that they were a tad darker than what they appeared online, but it was fine! GREAT product!
looks like you'd think they would

The invitations came in looking great. The response cards were a different color which I noticed when I was ordering but on when I checked it before I ordered it looked fine. It came in wrong, I called and got very good customer service. They printed new, no charge and it all came very quickly.

Invitations by Dawn was great to deal with. Whenever I emailed or phoned the staff everyone was very friendly and looking out for your best interest. When I was charged for shipping and handling (yet it wasn't in my bill), I emailed and the staff immediately took off the delivery charge. The invitations are gorgeous - love revealed. They are not paper thin and have weight to them. They are really unique I love them. The only con - shipping was from the states and I had to pay UPS almost $80 when they were delivered - not cool. I would have rather paid that upfront, that was the additional charge for UPS delivering the invitations. (This also occurred with my girlfriend who also ordered).

Beautifully designed invitation. It worked really well, we do not exactly have a "theme" for our wedding, but this captured and portrayed our style beautifully. Received many compliments from guests.
