Absolutely beautiful!

I love our wedding invitations! They are beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Good price, good material. You have to fold these, they come flat, but they are very easy to fold. I would definitely recommend the inner lined envelopes, it's a nice touch! Blue and purple are our colors and I liked that I could personalize these. Roses are some of our flowers too and they are so pretty around our names. Customer service was very helpful and nice, I called to ask some questions. I liked that you can order a sample beforehand, and it's free! Can't beat that! The invitations delivered in exactly a week after I ordered them. I had a great experience with this. Thank you Invitations By Dawn!

Overall we were happy with our choice. Our wedding is fairly low-key so the invites were good. I only wish they came with white shimmery paper and darker blue roses would've been perfect!! Delivery was very fast. My cards arrived sooner then the expected date... totally loved that.

I looked everywhere for a place that sold less than 25 invitations. I found finally found them with Invitations By Dawn at a good price. I made a mistake when entering my invitations and after I sent an email to them, they immediately responded with my change request and they send out proofs before printing. If I ever need invitations again, I will be sure to go to Invitations By Dawn!

Great Product

I fell in love with these invites when we first started looking at ideas. They're elegant, simple, an perfect for us! It also worked out since blue is one of our wedding colors. I was kinda worried because the sample I was sent of this invite was very cheap and flimsy and when I called to upgrade the paper, they told me that these invitations didn't offer any other paper. However; when they came in, I was happy to find out the paper was much better quality than the sample. I am not rating this product 5 stars because of my experience while ordering the invitations. My experience with this was not quite as smooth. After placing an order and not receiving a verification email of any kind, I called customer service to make sure the order had gone through. I was able to go into my account on Invitations by dawn and get an order number, but that seemed the only information available to me. I called customer service and explained the situation and gave the order number. After the customer service rep asking me if I was sure I hadn't forgot to submit my order and suggesting it was in my card (it wasn't, it had been submitted hence the fact I had an order number) she finally came back and said they had no sign of the order. It wasn't pulling up by order number or name and she said that I would need to place another order. I said that was fine but u wanted to be sure that the original orders ain't going to pop up and me end up being charged twice and 300 invitations. She assured me this wouldn't be an issue and that their IT tech and even they were unable to find any sign of his order. I placed another email and called to verify it had gone through. A week and a half later I received my order. Everything looked great and I was so excited! Imagine my surprise when a few days later I received another box of invites. I looked at my account and sure enough I had been charged for the original order(the one I was told was never placed) . I called customer service and they said they would refund the money and shopping and handling for me to return the package to them. Once I sent the box out, I emailed them the tracking number, amount for invitations and the amount I was charged for shipping and handling. A few days later I was refunded the money for the invitations but not for the shipping and handling charges. After calling them again and pointed this out they did refund the money. But I was not overly thrilled since this order was supposed to not have existed in the first place and I had included receipts for the shipping handling charges like they had asked as well as emailed them with the costs that needed to be refunded to me and still it was not taken care of and I needed to call them to make sure they kept their word and refund the cost of returning something I should not have received in her first place.

We love the invitation but are very unhappy about the spelling error. I understand that the spelling of names or places would be difficult to spell check. But every document should at least check common words. Even my cell phone does that. I feel that the offer of a 15 percent discount on the reprint is too low for something that should have been double checked by the company before it went to print. A courtesy email noting the misspelling and verifying what the customer wants would be great customer service.

Beautiful Invitations
YoYou from NY wrote on August 07, 2013:

I ordered these invitations to go with my "hearts" wedding theme. The invitations are beautiful. The paper quality, color content, color of the invitation (a soft beige/ivory) and style, hearts are perfect. I especially liked how the two hearts on the front of the invitation intertwine once closed, you are able to put the bride, and grooms name on the hearts a very nice touch. There was a huge variety of fonts and colors to choose. This made ordering or personalizing the invitations that much more special. I would recommend the online proofing for a mere $5.00. This was definitely worth it. I had to make a few changes to my invitation, and the changes were done quickly and correctly. Customer service was very good and courteous; I had a few questions they were able to help me with my request. I also ordered the reception cards, response cards and envelopes, and they were of the same quality as the wedding invitation. In addition, I had my return address printed on the back of the Response Cards and I was very pleased with their fine quality and professionalism. My delivery was prompt and arrived on time and they were in perfect condition. The box was packed well to protect the invitations.

Absolutely Beautiful!

These invitations came out simply gorgeous! I loved how easy they were to personalize and change the wording to what we wanted, it made them perfect. Everyone is giving us great compliments on them. Tip: they are easy to fold if you use the edges as a guide instead of the seams. The matching pieces worked well too. Since the reception and wedding are in the same place we erased the entire reception card and put the hotel information on it instead, looks great!! I loved being able to put our return addresses on the outside of the envelope and on the response cards, made things much easier too! Quick delivery and everything arrived as expected and in beautiful condition!

The PROS say it all. The only thing that was annoying was that we had to fold all of them by hand. BUT, I enjoyed being able to sit and look at my invitations as they were being prepared for the envelopes. Great product. It is beautiful and not flimsy at all. Only compliments from others. It was very helpful that I could get the names and addresses printed on the envelopes. Saved me time and hassle of doing it myself. Product came somewhat quickly and was in great condition in the box. A few of the envelopes were wrinkled just a bit, but they were still very useable.

Nice for the price

The paper was a little light but not bad. Nice job on the printing and the speed of delivery was amazing. All in all it was a good "bang for the buck".

All good comments

Perfect for the romantic in you and for that traditional wedding. Knew it was the right choice as soon as I saw them.

Nice invitation - was attractive
maggie of plum from PA wrote on February 29, 2012:

The cards are very hard to assemble. The hearts were not perforated enough and if you weren't extremely careful, they would tear. In addition, the cards were very hard to place in the envelope -- the corners would catch when inserting. The invitation itself was very pretty and of a decent quality.

Jen from VA wrote on February 01, 2012:

The invitations are awesome! They seem to be exactly as pictured. Our only complaint is with the paper thickness. Very thin, maybe twice as thick as a sheet of paper..Not great for wedding invitations, but we already ordered them and we'll deal with it.Ordering process was nice, got to personalize the ink color and message as needed. Shipping was good also, I believe it took about 10 days to reach us. Everything does come "flat" though, so you have to fold the invitations yourself. If I had this ordeal to do over again, I would NOT order the lined inner envelopes. They just don't look as good as they cost. I think it was [$] for 125 envelopes...but they look cheap. Better off with regular inner envelopes, or try somewhere else.Overall, very happy with the product.

Simple, yet elegant
Kathy from CA wrote on January 06, 2012:

I bought these for my wedding invitation. They turned out so beautiful. This card was simple in many ways, but it still turned out so elegant. So many of my friends gave great comments on it. Although the creases were made so you know where to fold, I didn't like having to spend time to fold and back fold so many cards. It took up a lot of time.
