Beautiful but hard to assemble

The cards themselves are beautiful but if I was to do this all over again(which I never would) I would definitely go with invitations with pockets. The response cards and other cards are loosely tossed inside the invitation. The cards do not come assembled and you have to put ribbons, glue dots, and fold everything yourself. The ribbons are also sold separately which is another additional expense but you need them so the card stays folded. But after many hours of work the cards themselves are beautiful, elegant, and impressive.

Golden Gates Laser Cut Invitation
JS from Canada wrote on May 15, 2014:

We were very happy with the quality of our invitations. The laser cut exterior was cut really well and the quality of the paper for both the exterior and the interior was very good. Once assembled, the invitations are very elegant. The only things we added ourselves were extra glue dots, because there weren't enough provided for all four corners, and a ribbon for a finishing touch. We went for the shimmer paper upgrade for the RSVP cards, the Thank You cards and the Thank You card envelopes. I'm so glad we did. I was worried it might be a little bit ostentatious, but it's quite subtle. I only wish the shimmer paper upgrade had been available for the interior of the invitation also. Overall, the invitations met all of our expectations and our family and friends have commented on how beautiful they are. We ordered 2 different sets of sample invitations before placing our order. The first set arrived very quickly, within about 4 days. The second set took a very long time to arrive. So long that I thought they had gotten lost in the mail. The sample invitation we received of the invitation we ended up ordering was true to what we actually received. When I placed the order for the invitations, I included a note to ask for the shimmer paper upgrade for the interior of the invitations. Within about an hour of placing the order, I received a call from them to let me know that, unfortunately, this was not available for this item. I was impressed at how quickly they responded. The proofs were emailed the same day and were easy for me to approve. Nothing needed changing. I was anxious for the invitations to arrive and I checked the UPS tracking page very often. They arrived about when they were supposed to. There's always a bit of a delay when crossing the border into Canada. When we received them, they were organized very nicely in little boxes with a list of everything included. Everything was there just as we had ordered. Throughout the process I was pleased with their service.
