When my fianc and I began wedding planning, we knew there were three things on the top of our priority budget list: entertainment (we hired a band), photography (we are top dollar for a high end photo/video package), and good food. Both flowers and invitations were things we wanted to incorporate, but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on either of these two wedding necessities that would both end in the garbage. After lots of research and careful consideration, we went with Invitations by Dawn and chose this specific design because it fit our needs perfectly. We completely changed the RSVP card to include a "note" section that I've found to be a cute way for guests to include a personalized message. We upgraded the paper stock and used the thermography raised ink to give our invitations some extra durability. While the perforated edges are noticeable, it hasn't made me regret our decision. Aside from us, each set of parents will be the only ones likely to keep a copy, while other guests will keep theirs on the fridge for a couple months before tossing in the trash. I absolutely love our invitations and am proud to stay true to our financial decisions to not spend $1,000 on paper that few will remember. Thanks IBD!
