I had been searching for invitations for weeks looking for the best product at a reasonable price. I felt so overwhelmed that I did the desperate facebook plea asking all past brides to lend some advice. I had an amazing response from friends and family and quite a few had referred me to Dawns Invitations. Upon looking through all of their invitaions and obtaining 5 free samples then paying for a few more I knew this was it. My fiance and I agreed on the Filigree edge eggplant pocket invitation and WOW! The color scheme is PERFECT with the bridal party between the elegant timeless eggplant and then slate grey and slightly lighter grey for the text. Suddenly I felt dare i say, relief? Then we designed our own, placed the order (just three months before the wedding EEEK) and the invitations came in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS!!! All perfectly packaged and beautiful! Although we need to assemble them ourselves Dawn Invitations has supplied ample outlets for support and help. AND THEY WERE SO AFFORDABLE!!! We were able to get pocket invitations with free shipping AND discount and they don't look like discount invites! I urge you to order samples first, when they arrive you will get a discount code if you decide to order through Dawn! Thank you for making this as seemless as possible! I would reccomend these to anyone!

I love these invitations! Many of our guests have commented on the "simple elegance" of the invites. I really liked how customizable we could make the invitations as well. My ONLY complaint is that I wish that we received more glue dots as there were not enough if you wanted to glue down all 4 corners of each invitation, but I was easily able to pick up some more at the craft store for under $5.
convenient, but not as expected

The envelope is an odd size and was not recognized at the Post office as an invitation. The return address should have been on the front. The postage was double due to the odd size.

I ordered these innovations for my wedding and I love them! They are so elegant and will be perfect for my use. The paper quality and printing is even better than the samples. (When I got my sample, some of the navy blue pocket had rubbed off onto the white invitation, but they ship them separately so it isn't a problem). It does take a little bit of assembly as mentioned above, but it is well worth it. I orderd the navy pocket and plan to wrap the exterior in a silver ribbon, mounted on the front with a small piece of cardstock that has a stamp on it.
Great value for the price

These invitations are great for the price. I was specifically looking for silver pocket invitations, and I am very pleased with the quality and the design of these, especially for the low price. Other invitations I had shopped for were way more expensive, and these are just as nice. When purchasing, you do not need to pay the extra money for the proof. It looked exactly the same as the preview online, so as long as you triple check the spelling before ordering, you do not need to spend the extra money. The invitations arrived very quickly and everything was in good condition. I was a little disappointed with the glue dots that came to secure the invitation to the pocket. They only sent one per invitation, which is definitely not enough. I had to go out and purchase double sided tape to secure each corner of the invitation. Also, I did not like how plain the outside of the pocket looked when closed, so I bought some stickers to place on the flap, which adds a nice touch. I recommend having them print the addresses on the envelopes to save yourself the trouble, however, I asked for the address and return address to be two different fonts and I guess that's not possible because they both came with the same font. It looks ok though. If you want nice invitations and you're up for some at home assembly, without spending a lot of money, I recommend these invitations.
