These wedding invitations are breathtaking in person! I wanted my invitations to be a bit more formal than my save the dates and these are absolutely perfect! I was able to easily customize the wording inside. I purchased hemp string at a local craft store and it works beautifully. These are classically beautiful and have just enough hint of earthiness that I love! The paper is heavy enough for it to sit upright. They will look beautiful sitting out on a desk or shelf. I am 100% happy with my purchase and can't wait to send them out today!

Lovely wedding invitations that immediately caught my eye. I was able to make them even more original by adding special inserts, custom seals, and hand-painted envelopes... Received endless compliments from family and friends. They are just the right level of elegant, while leaving room for whichever way you prefer to go: very classic wedding fancy, or a rustic boho-chic. I recommend only using a few lines of text on the inside so as to not crowd the overall graceful design. The only con that really bothered me is that they charged extra for using any color ink other than black. The invitations are already priced in the higher range, so an additional charge for ink AND another if you want a digital proof... well, it's rather excessive for a business formed around printing custom invitations.

Arrived promptly and looked perfect!

I love these invitations so much!!!!! They go perfectly with my vintage look. The only annoying part is it didn't come with the twine and you needed to purchase it separately. Although, I did go to Joann's and find the chocolate twine for a lot less money and only needed one roll. I am so excited to send these out to my guests :)
Absolutely in love!

I spent nearly a year looking at different invitations, and this was among the first two that stood out to me. When it came time to order, I was excited to see the available % discount which helped me decide on this style invitation. It only took about a week and a half for them to be delivered, and they are amazing! The paper quality is thick and has a shimmer that I couldn't see when viewing it online. The raised ink and framing details make it look very expensive. I was concerned about the ink color prior to ordering and thought that black would not be a good complementary color; however, it turned out gorgeous. The only 'negative' is that the twine pictured with the invitation is not included - but that's no big deal considering twine can be easily purchased inexpensively from a craft store.I would absolutely recommend for others to order this invitation. It adds a touch of elegance and vintage flare without being stuffy!
Beautiful invitations, slow shipping

Beautiful, high quality invitations. The customer service did not contact to let us know that there would be a delay in shipping out the invitations. We called them a week after they were supposed to be shipped to find out they had just been shipped that day. Customer service was not very helpful during that phone call. Also, they were supposed to ship the invitations via UPS Ground but changed it to UPS SurePost (much slower). We contacted them when they still hadn't arrived almost two weeks later and they were willing to work with us. Customer service at that time was much better.
The best invitation I have ever seen!

I just received these invitations in the mail and they are stunning! I can't stop staring at them! Just beautiful! I could not be more happy with my choice. I ordered the response cards as well. Both are excellent quality! I ended up going with black ink for everything including the envelopes, and it looks awesome! If you are thinking about purchasing these invitations, don't! Just buy them. I did buy the jute cord too. My only con is I would of liked more envelope choices, but not a big deal at all. They get ripped and thrown out anyway.
Beautiful Product, Not So Beautiful Service
Jana from PA wrote on May 09, 2014:
At first everything seemed copesectic. Customer service was quick. The invitations came in two business days. However, items were shorted. Called, was taken care of -- I thought. Sent out next day. Came next day, WRONG again. Had to wait until Monday now. Well no products on Monday. Supervisor decided not to ship. Supervisor ships it on Tuesday. Wednesday finally one of the mistakes are righted, I can finally mail invitations. However, the other item to come corrected--WRONG again. I no longer want it, don't need it, DO NOT WANT IT. This company, I guess they have a problem on the assembly line, I don't know. BOTTOM LINE, ORDER EARLY, VERY EARLY.

I am definitely excited to send these out. I had a 30% off coupon and fee shipping. Thought it was reasonably priced for the thermography print. Thought the editor program could be confusing at time and the update editor sometimes took a long time to load. Did wish there was a lined envelope option. But overall very happy with them. They were shipped well and adorably packed. Quick turn around time.

The invites are beautiful! Exceeded my expectations. The paper shimmers(unable to pick up on that when reviewing on line. The only downfall was the cost to mail to guests. If mailed as in picture on line w/twine, cost was $2.08 ea.( it could have been more but cant remember now). By adding the twine, post office consider it a parcel. Unfortunately we had to remove twine from invitatons and mail cost instead = .66 (more in my budget)ordered invites by phone so everything would be done correctly prior to leaving on vacation and bride could mail out immediateley.. Left for vacation. when I returned home I received mesg on phone, invites put on hold due to paper choice(? )Turns out there was no other paper options, and invites should have been mailed out. They mailed out invites next day but due to the misunderstanding it caused a 1 1/2 week delay on mailing out to guests. We did get shorted 4 invites but when called, customer service rep was great and mailed out asap. overall I loved the invitations. once invites mailed to us, it only took 3 days to receive.
Vintage/Antique Floral invitations

This design fits so well with my Victorian Bed and Breakfast wedding! The jute twine was the finishing touch and I added a skeleton key to my twine and I tied it twice around the invitation! The embossed lettering was perfect and this style made me feel like my invitations were defintely unique and very lovely. My expectations were meet and actually exceeded beyond what I pictured! Invitations by Dawn is highly recommended by me!
I would buy this product again and again

I used this product as my wedding invitation. I love the detail of them, with the nice thick paper, shiny finish and the jute cord that ties the whole invitation together. The only thing that would have made them better is if I could have customized the color to match my wedding colors. That said, these invitations are so beautiful, I went with them despite the fact that the colors weren't exactly right, and I don't regret my decision at all!
Beautiful and elegant
Joan from TX wrote on March 23, 2013:
This product exceeded my expectations. The paper and print quality are very nice and the sheen of the finish on the paper adds real luxury to these invites. That doesn't come across in the pictures but its beautiful. The team at Invitations by Dawn is great to work with too!
