Keep it clean!
A modern wedding is often characterized by how clean and minimalist the decorations tend to be. You can see here that we’ve introduced the look with the Sharp Lines Wedding Invitation featuring gorgeous rose gold foil. The frame of slim lines around your wording gives this invite a sharp look to say the least! The invitation leads beautifully into elegant and angular candleholders for the reception tables as well as a very pretty wedding cake with rose gold accents to finish the look.
Keep it interesting.
The minimalist look so often associated with modern style allows you to focus on key visual elements. We love the very simple floral approach shown here with single flower stems in varying lengths displayed along the center of a long reception table. This charming idea brings color to the tables and is very attention grabbing. Of course, you want to throw in a few jaw-dropping elements like the bride’s dress with oversized bow and the groom’s super adorable (ahem…handsome) bowtie.
Keep it (kinda) casual.
What we mean is don’t go crazy with the glitz and the glam. Like mentioned above, simple and clean is perfect for a modern wedding. The varying shades of gray bridesmaid dresses are a great example of being casual about the color and style of dress but still having formal gowns. Displaying the wildflowers on the reception table offers a more casual look as well but lends the perfect amount of color and feminine beauty.
