Whether that place turns out to be a gazebo in your back yard, a nearby garden or the community room at your local library, make sure whatever location you choose has the right ambiance for something as sweet as a fairy tale baby shower. The parasols and paper lanterns hanging within the garden setting shown above are perfect for adding some simple yet fanciful décor to your surroundings. Create a sparkling backdrop with strips of fabric wherever the mother will be opening gifts and every photo taken of her will be picture-perfect.

Make the mother feel like her little girl is the Belle of the ball even if all she knows is the feeling of her little dancing feet! You can come up with all kinds of cute table centerpieces like the teacup with sweet baby’s breath and frog prince display shown here.
