Many of today’s couples plan their own weddings and rely on wedding planning websites to make the process easier. A good site for wedding planning should have a planning checklist, budget tool, guest list manager/seating chart tool, wedding websites, wedding registry and some kind of inspiration board to gather photos and ideas. Our three favorite wedding planning websites have all of these tools plus a few bonus features. Here’s a quick rundown of each.
Wedding Wire
We must admit, Wedding Wire is our favorite! All three wedding planning websites have a lot to offer but wedding wire has the cleanest, most modern design which makes everything just a tad bit easier to navigate. We love that Wedding Wire has a Wedding Songs tool for finding your favorite tunes to play at the ceremony and dance. Plus, you’ll find a few wedding planning apps that will be very helpful during your planning process if you’re an app-savvy couple.
The Knot
The Knot really can’t be topped when it comes to content and inspiration. They even added a new feature, a color bar, in the upper left corner of the site. All you have to do is pick your color and tons of photo inspiration appears. The Knot also provides a one-stop shot for finding all the necessary wedding items you need from stationery to decorations and everything in between. Martha Stewart Weddings
As you might imagine, Martha Stewart Weddings is a highly useful planning site. Not only do you get amazing inspiration like articles on how to DIY your wedding decorations and sneak peeks at photography from other real weddings, you also get etiquette advice you can trust. Overall the website is beautiful (again, no surprise) and very easy to navigate. We highly recommend checking it out.
