Mint is an incredibly unique color. It can be vintage and modern. It can be sweet and rich. It can very easily become a wedding color you love working with! And when it’s paired with gold, you’ll take mint in a wonderful new direction.

We played around with the mint + gold wedding look to show you just how much fun you can have with these wedding colors.

Mint and gold Wedding Color

Mint to be
Could there be a better way to tell everyone that your love was “mint” to be than by sending a mint wedding invitation? Nope! The fresh color says, “Oooo, this will be pretty!” and the gold you mix it with says, “And glam, too!” Make that glam anything you want it to be. It can be a vintage 1940s movie star mint and gold glam, or it can be sleek and modern with subtle shine. There are even mint wedding invitations printed in gold foil – how’s that for shine?

Go for the gold
Carefully chosen gold decorations and accents add sweetness and surprise. Go with matte gold accessories for that shimmer that simmers beneath the surface – like old gold and brassy thrift store finds, gold velvet or polished cotton fabrics for your tables, dull gold sequined table runners, non-metallic gold ribbon around your cake. OR make everything shine! Choose a gold cake knife and server to go with that gold-accented cake. Ask your caterer to provide gold utensils and gold-rimmed glasses. Go wild with metallic streamers, banners and bunting.

So Refreshing
When it comes to mint and gold wedding attire, bring it on! Add a mint satin sash to your wedding gown to match your bridesmaids’ dresses. Wear gold satin with just touches of mint in the accents. You can even seek out mint dresses with gold shimmering sequins. And don’t forget the shoes! Go for bouquets and arrangements that are mostly light green like eucalyptus, ferns and variegated greenery mixed in with the lightest, most delicate white flowers or pastels.
