You’re familiar with the romantic tale of Snow White and her Prince Charming who awakens her from the poison apple curse with true love’s kiss. Sure, this Disney princess makes a few questionable decisions along the way, like taking an apple from a strange, cackling woman who randomly showed up at her doorstep, but I still love her. And what bride wouldn’t want to emulate this romantic fairy tale ending on her wedding day? Here’s how to channel your inner Snow White during your nuptials:

Alert your guests
Upon receiving this Disney Apple Blossoms Invitation in the mail, it won’t be hard for your guests to decipher your wedding theme. After all, the bold red hue and the apple blossom pattern printed on cream white paper is classic Snow White. If Cinderella or Jasmine is more your style, we have invitations to coordinate with every Disney princess.

If you want your dress to emulate the feminine, princess-like nature of Disney, then you should check out their 2014 Fairy Tale Wedding Dress Collection. Disney designers really nailed the Snow White-inspired gown. It gently drapes across the shoulders and features a sheer illusion neckline. The lace detailing and shimmering beading on this dress is just as stunning as the silhouette. Add a pop of deep red to your outfit with a bold lipstick, statement earrings or bright pumps.

Rock Disney bling
Using Gemvara’s customization tool, Sierra from Heck Yeah Disney Merch was able to create engagement rings that perfectly reflect the personality of each princess, including Snow White. This engagement ring features three colors: yellow, blue and red, all of which came from Snow White’s dress! The beautiful stone in the middle is a bright red hue, and it’s surrounded by alternating blue and yellow gems.

Use props during your photo shoot
You can easily get Snow White-inspired wedding photos by using a shiny red apple as a prop. Hold it gracefully in the palm of your hand, wrapping your fingers delicately around the apple. Have your photographer take a close-up so your sparkling wedding ring contrasts with the bright hue of the apple. Add a paper leaf to the top of the fruit that reads “Snow White” – this will make your photos look more Disney-esque and less like Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” book cover.

Apples can also be used to decorate your reception tables – core a few of the fruits and use them as romantic, on-theme candle holders!
