Cinderella isn’t only loved by little girls, brides idolize her as well! Her love story is flawless: She acquires a dress to the ball at the last minute (thanks to her fairy godmother), finds her prince charming, and despite losing a shoe, she marries him. Channel this epic love story on your big day with these must-have accessories:
Wedding invitations
Cinderella herself would envy this Disney – Once Upon a Time Invitation. The stationery evokes a classic elegance that only Cinderella can carry. A light blue shimmer band (not unlike the color of this princess’ ball gown) wraps around your invitation for a colorful contrast. The glamorous script coordinates with the classic look of the stationery.
A Cinderella-inspired gown
I am absolutely in love with this Cinderella dress from the Alfred Angelo bridal gown line. This dress is like a modern-day Disney princess ensemble. It features a strapless neckline, and embellished bodice and a light blue ribbon tied delicately around the waist and secured with sparkling rhinestones. Pair the gown with a simple ivory or sparkling silver heel along with a crystal choker necklace, and you’ll be ready to marry your prince.
Disney-approved engagement ring
Complete your Cinderella transformation with a ring designed with the princess in mind. This cushion-cut ring features a beautiful blue stone surrounded by a halo of diamonds. The inside of the silver band reads “Dancing on a cloud…” which I’m sure is exactly how you’ll feel on your wedding day.
A silver pumpkin
You may not be able to turn a pumpkin into a golden carriage, but you can incorporate the pumpkin theme onto your reception tables. Spray paint mini pumpkins silver and place one on each plate to coordinate with your silverware and dinnerware. Keep the rest of the table decor simple with fresh white linens, bronze candlesticks and bouquets of creamy white blooms. Cinderella would most definitely approve of this classy setting.
Woodland creatures
Alright, you don’t actually have to have birds and squirrels on your guest list, but you can work them into your decor. After all, what would Cinderella have done without her woodland friends? Instead of the traditional bride and groom statue cake topper, use birds! As for the color of your cake, stick with the light blue that’s featured on your dress and on your wedding invitations.
