This sweepstakes got me thinking about how I would use this cash if I was getting married. One collection of stationery immediately came to mind: real wood invitations. I’m in love with rustic-themed weddings because there’s something so naturally beautiful and simple about their style.
The title of real wood invitations speaks for itself. The wording and designs that you choose look as if they’ve actually been printed on to slabs of natural wood. How cool is that? Plus, not one wood invitation is the same as another. Each vary slightly in color and characteristics for a truly special and custom card. While all of these wooden rustic wedding invitations are gorgeous, I’ve narrowed down a few of my favorites that would certainly be in the running if I was walking down the aisle:
This invite blends two wedding themes together flawlessly: destination and rustic. Bright orange coral and a starfish adorn the bottom of the wooden stationery for an authentic under-the-sea vibe. Choose two different shades for your text to coordinate with the colorful illustration.
If you’re having an outdoor wedding under a canopy of trees, this invitation perfectly depicts that scene. A beautiful hand-drawn tree fills the side of your stationery and colorful cherry blossoms gracefully dance across the invitation for just the right amount of color. The text below matches the deep crimson color of the blossoms for a coordinated feel.
The neutral wood background really helps to bring out the bright turquoise on this invitation. Pretty feathers filled with a variety of bold hues float delicately above your wording. At the bottom of the invite, you’ll find an arrow complete with a colorful heart in the middle. If turquoise isn’t your style, choose from other stand-out shades, such as purple, red and orange.
