The Internet has changed wedding planning as we know it. It’s the perfect place to get inspiration for every last detail of your nuptials, from the wedding invitations and centerpieces to the reception menu and bridesmaid dresses. While you may already have some amazing ideas up your sleeve for your big day, everyone could use a bit of inspiration every once in awhile. Here are some great places to look that won’t disappoint:

Pinterest
If you’re anything like me, you know how easy it is to spend hours on Pinterest on the wedding page alone! And the best part about Pinterest is that this inspiration comes from actual brides-to-be and newlyweds. You can search for even the most specific of items, like vintage wedding favors or ideas on how to incorporate more sparkle and shine into your nuptials. Organize your wedding boards into categories like fashion, reception decor, cakes and flowers to make it easy to find all of the pictures and ideas that inspired you.

Lover.ly
If you’re looking to stay up to date on all of the latest and greatest wedding trends, click on over to Lover.ly. Lover.ly is very similar to Pinterest with one exception – it’s all focused on weddings. You can search, shop, save inspirations and share wedding ideas with other brides for the ultimate interactive experience. It’s easy to find what you want on this site – you can shop by bridal designer, category, wedding detail or the latest trends.

Movies
The Internet isn’t the only place where you can find unique ideas for your upcoming nuptials. Simply turn on the television and switch it over to some of your favorite wedding movies. From “My Best Friend’s Wedding” and “Father of the Bride” to “Bridesmaids” and “Bride Wars,” there are so many wedding-centered movies that share details that could give you the ultimate inspiration. Plus who doesn’t love relaxing in front of the TV? Invite a few girlfriends over and keep a notepad with you as you watch the movie to write down things that you might want to include in your own special day.

Magazines
The next time you’re commuting to work or getting a mani/pedi, flip open a bridal magazine. Use sticky notes or fold back the pages to document ideas that you want to remember for your nuptials. There are so many great magazines out there dedicated to brides, like Martha Stewart Weddings, The Knot, Brides and Bridal Guide. They are always willing to dish on the hottest trends with today’s brides.
