Just because the weather isn’t warm doesn’t mean you’re limited in what you can do for your bachelorette party! In fact, there are just as many activities out there for a winter event as there are in the summer – you just have to get creative! After sending out wedding invitations, getting a marriage license and choosing flowers for the reception tables, you deserve a night of fun.
A fondue party
Get together with all of your best friends by getting dressed up and heading to the nearest fondue restaurant. You and your girls can warm up with pots full of velvety cheese and smooth chocolate as you dip tasty cubes of bread along with plenty of fresh veggies and fruit.
Take a dance class
Pick out a studio in your area and decide on a style of dance that you and your bridesmaids would like to learn. And just because it’s a bachelorette party does not mean you’re limited to pole dancing. After all, there’s no better way to beat the cold than to get your blood pumping with a little dancing! Don’t worry if you have two left feet – that’s what classes are for! You and your best friends will have a blast joking around and learning the latest dance crazes. You can even show off the moves you’ve acquired at the wedding.
Bake treats
Invite your friends over for a day or night of baking. There’s nothing like warm pies, cakes, muffins and cookies to beat the cold weather! And the best part is, you get to indulge once everything comes out of the oven (if the cookie dough even makes it to the oven). Pair your baked goods with a sweet glass of wine and pop in your favorite movie.
Become a mixologist for a day
Beat the winter cold with some cocktails! Some bars actually offer classes on how to make drinks and even help the bride out with creating her very own signature drink. Not only will you all get to expand your cocktail horizons, these are skills that you can most definitely put to future use.
Go skiing
Take advantage of the chilly weather and get active with your group of girls on the slopes. After a day of skiing, you can relax in the hot tub with a few cocktails or warm up in the lodge with a glass of wine.
Hit up a sweet spa
We literally mean sweet spa. There are 21 spas throughout the United States where you can actually immerse yourself in chocolate. Not a fan of chocolate? Try getting scrubbed down with a concoction of blueberries and sugar cane.
