“Always Be My Baby” by: Mariah Carey
The 90s wouldn’t be complete without Miss Mariah. Her powerhouse voice really shines in this amazing ballad and I’m pretty confident that almost every guest at your wedding will be belting out the lyrics on the dance floor. Plus, these words are very appropriate for a wedding.
“Because You Loved Me” by: Celine Dion
We can’t forget about a 90s slow song. And when it comes to slow, powerful beats, nobody can beat Celine Dion. These meaningful lyrics still give me goose bumps. Better get out the tissues for your wedding guests when your DJ spins this 90s favorite.
“The Macarena” by: Los del Rio
OK, this has to be one of the most popular songs played at nuptials. I still to this day do not know any of the words, but you can be assured that I have these dance moves down to a science, as does everyone at your wedding. You can’t think of ending your reception without turning up this 90s hit. Be sure to get a photo of everyone in sync on the dance floor.
“Kiss Me” by: Sixpence None the Richer
Your loved ones will certainly be clinking their glasses when this song comes on at your reception. Take every opportunity to kiss your new spouse while this tune plays.
“You’re Still the One” by: Shania Twain
Shania no doubt has lots of 90s hits, but one of my favorites is “You’re Still the One.” It’s all about looking at how far you’ve come as a couple and how much you still have to look forward to. Plus, the chorus of this song is pretty darn catchy.
“Baby One More Time” by: Britney Spears
There’s one artist that is likely on everyone’s iPods (even the ones who don’t want to admit it), and that’s the legendary Britney Spears. Her popular hit “Baby One More Time” is still as big as it was in the 90s.
“California Love” by: Tupac
Give a quick tribute to Tupac by blasting one of his most popular ballads: “California Love.” We dare you to not sway along with this catchy beat. And you get extra points if you know all the words.
