After you and your new spouse have finally tied the knot, it’s time to start the party. But, of course, in order for the big celebration to begin, the bride and groom, along with their bridal party, have to make their grand entrances into the reception venue. And what’s a grand entrance without some great music to go along with it? Here are a few hot hits to consider:

For the bride and groom

“Crazy in Love” by Beyonce
The title says it all, folks. And it doesn’t hurt that this is just about the most catchy tune out there. Queen B sure does know how to get everybody on their feet.

“Beautiful Day” by U2
It certainly is a beautiful day because the two of you have started your new lives together. And this song just gives off the most positive energy – a perfect way to start the party.

“The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson
Make your grand entrance with the King of Pop. Both you and your other half can burst through the doors wearing white gloves just like Jackson and bust out your best dance moves.

“Gangnam Style” by Psy
Alright, this song doesn’t really scream “we’re in love,” but it sure is a fun and hilarious way to set the tone for the rest of the evening. Just make sure you have the unique dance moves from the music video nailed down so you can impress everyone.

For the bridal party

“Old Time Rock and Roll” by Bob Seger
You don’t have to be Tom Cruise wearing underwear to pull off a grand entrance with this song. This upbeat melody will bring guests back to the time of rock ‘n’ roll and each member of the bridal party can slide into the reception hall, just like Tom in “Risky Business.”

“Raise your Glass” by Pink
If there’s ever a song that gets people ready for a night of drinking and dancing, it’s this one. It really puts everyone in the celebration mood and sets the tone for the evening. Members of the bridal party can make their grand entrance holding up prop glasses each time the song tells you to “raise your glass.” It’s a great way to interact with the crowd.

“Just Dance” by Lady Gaga
The bridal party can each dress up with a ridiculous looking wig or outfit (the weirder, the better) and make their entrance belting out this favorite of Gaga’s. Have each groomsman or bridesmaid pick a guest to dance with as they make their way to the main table.
