Once you have your theme down for the anticipated bachelorette party, it’s time to stock up on the essentials. But to make sure that you don’t miss anything, I’ve provided you with a list of things you might want to bring along to celebrate your last night as a single lady.
Shot glasses
What’s a bachelorette party without a few shots of alcohol? Instead of using the shot glasses from your college days, make new memories using personalized wedding shot glasses. The bride, maid of honor and bridesmaids can each have their own, making it easy to tell whose is whose. This black and white glass customized with the bride’s name is perfect for a lingerie bachelorette party, along with a glass for the maid of honor and, of course, the bridesmaids.
Wine charms
Once you break out the wine, you’ll want to know which glass belongs to whom. This is where wine charms come in. Attach them to the stem of your wine glass for an individualized touch.
Lingerie
A selection of lingerie for the bride-to-be doesn’t only make for a great gift, it works as decor as well! And hey – take advantage of it – this is the only event where you can get away with using underwear as decor pieces. You can even turn it into a game – have your bridesmaids each bring a piece of lingerie, and you have to guess which of your girls brought what!
Goodies
Who wouldn’t want to enjoy a few sweets before heading out for a night on the town? Stay classy with these adorable purple, sparkling lingerie cupcakes or stick with the alcohol theme by topping your small cakes with mini bottle of vanilla vodka and brightly colored frosting.
A survival kit
You and your bridal party will be thankful that you have a survival kit when you wake up the next morning. Here are a few items you may want to include:
- Tylenol
- Mints
- Tums
- Hair ties
- Band-Aids
- Cleansing towelettes
- Bottle of water
- Coffee
Group scrapbook
After all those shots, you’re going to need a few pictures to remember the night. What better way to preserve the memories of your bachelorette party than with a scrapbook? You can print out all of the pictures each girl in your group took and compile them all into one book. Mail a page to each guest that they can decorate with their own photos, quotes and mementos.
I’ve been to over 1,000 bachelorette parties, and there’s so many ways to make each one as fun as possible. These are some great ideas I’ve seen executed in numerous variations.
