A sash or belt
If you’ve ever seen TLC’s hit show “Say Yes to the Dress,” you know how much of a difference a belt or sash can make when it’s added to the waistline of a gown. A beaded or sparkling sash can add just the right amount of glamor, color or texture to any wedding dress.
Cardigan or fur coat
For those brides getting married in the middle of winter, a strapless dress may not cut it when it comes to staying warm. However, you don’t want to rock your giant puffy coat that you wear to go sledding, either. For a fall or winter wedding, consider a cardigan or fur coat. Incorporate one of your wedding hues through an accent of color, keep it neutral or choose something a bit more substantial like these adorable fur numbers.
Add some bling to your shoes by snapping on a few shoe clips. There are a wide variety of styles and designs to fit any wedding shoes that you have your eye on. Much like the belt on a wedding dress, they provide the perfect accent to finish off the bridal ensemble.
There are lots of things you can add into your hair to make your locks look that much more beautiful.
Barrette: Use a sparkling barrette to hold back your half-up do, like this.
Veil: Veils aren’t just traditional, they’re a fashion statement! From vintage, 1920s birdcage styles to lace floor length numbers, they’re all beautiful.
Floral headband: Flowers are for much more than just carrying down the aisle. Choose your favorite blooms for a rustic, natural headpiece.
Tiara: This piece is especially made for the princess bride. Your wedding is your time to feel like royalty, so you might as well go all out with a tiara!
Is there a better accessory than jewelry? We don’t think so. Drape your wrists, neck and ears with jewelry of your choice. Make sure each piece you choose balances out one another and matches with your bridal look. For example, if you have an elaborate necklace, opt for simple earrings to match.
