My bridesmaids are my best friends, but I still don’t know what I should give them as a thank you for being in my bridal party? Should they each have different gifts or all the same thing? When should I give them the gifts?
Bridesmaid gifts are the perfect way to say thank you to the ladies who are doing so much for you, but they can also be a huge source of stress. They don’t need to be stressful, though, and you shouldn’t need to frantically run around town looking for the perfect gifts.
Think about the personalities of each bridesmaid, just as you would consider them for any other type of gift giving. If the same gift could work for everyone, that’s fine. If not, you can give them different gifts. Some brides prefer to give the maid of honor something extra special to recognize her special role among the bridesmaids.
When you give the gifts can depend on what the gifts are. If you’ve chosen something that can be used on your wedding day, such as a piece of jewelry, give the gifts at the rehearsal dinner or at the start of the morning. If it’s a gift they’ll use after the wedding, you can give the gifts during the preparation or even during the reception.
The best gifts are ones that will remind your bridesmaids of your happy day that they can get use out of. If you’re stuck for ideas, or want some great inspiration with easy ordering, check out the selection of gifts available from Invitations By Dawn!
