The photo booth craze at wedding receptions around the country is hot, hot, hot! Sure, you’ll have a photographer capturing all the romantic shots of your big day, but the photo booth is what captures the fun, crazy and ridiculous shots of all of your guests as they celebrate your wedding. And the best part is – you’ll get to peruse these later with your new spouse and the guests get to keep a copy for themselves to serve as a fun reminder of your nuptials.
The one thing that really makes photo booths so exciting is the props that come with it. They add that unique touch and are part of why many brides and their guests can’t get enough of this popular trend. As far as props go, you can get as creative as you would like. Grab some feather boas, glasses, clown noses, hats, signs and more. But instead of rummaging through your grandmother’s attic for props to use for your wedding, make it easy on yourself and come on over to the Invitations by Dawn website where you can print out FREE photo booth props! Print out fun signs to hold up to send a message to the newlyweds like “Team bride” or “smooch” and “handsome.” I’m sure your guests can use their creativity to come up with a few choice phrases that are going to be hilarious to look at later. Here’s how it works:
Browse through all of the props and signs. Take some time to print out your favorites or all of them! They all make for fantastic pictures.
Grab a few items you’ll need. Before you turn these free printables into super fun props your wedding guests will love, you’ll need a few things: 8.5″ x 11″ paper, dowels or straws, foam core, spray adhesive, X-Acto knife, tape or a glue gun.
Follow step-by-step directions. Print out the designs onto the 8.5″ x 11″ paper. Spray one side of the foam core with spray adhesive and apply the paper to the sprayed foam core with the design facing up – be sure to smooth out any wrinkles. Cut out your fun props using your X-Acto knife (trust us, scissors don’t do the trick). Tape or glue a dowel or straw to the backside of each prop and for the final step, find a cute basket to hold all of the props!
