This is the shortest type of veil out there and has gained popularity over the years. Typically, they’re worn just covering the eyes or extending down to the chin. Many brides love this veil because it brings a vintage touch to the big day.
This one is exactly how it sounds. This is perfect if you have an especially detailed back on your gown that you would like to show off.
This one falls down to your elbows (who knew?) and is more on the informal side – perfect for casual affair.
This is a very common veil and many brides are opting for this length because the always beautiful Kate Middleton rocked this style of veil at her wedding.
They only get longer from here. In this style, the veil drapes anywhere between the knee and the ankle, still allowing the bride to get her groove on while prancing the dance floor.
These bad boys go all the way down to the ground. These are perfect for a super elegant affair.
Be sure not to trip over this one! These not only go all the way to the ground, but have a train as well. This would be gorgeous to walk down the aisle in and would photograph beautifully.
There’s one type of veil alternative that can be done in a wide variety of ways: the headband. It could be a vintage-inspired headband adorned with jewels and beads, a retro design, a weave of flowers throughout the hair or even lots of feathers! (think Carrie Bradshaw’s almost-wedding in Sex & The City).
