Country meets chic in this Country Canning Jar Invitation. What I love most about this invite is that it combines a variety of textures. It goes beyond your traditional invitation to bring your wedding guests a sort of 3D taste of what the big day is going to be like. And mason jars are huge in the industry (not to mention versatile, chic, simple and stunning!).
For a natural, beautiful centerpiece, try placing a few candles on a slab of wood. Wrap a few pieces of twine around the tops of the candles, and voila! You now have a perfectly simple centerpiece that likely didn’t cost you much. Twine is also great for hanging name cards for the reception! Wedding Window simply hung some twine and used clothespins to hold the cards to the twine. This stuff also looks stunning wrapped around mason jars. Stick some of your favorite blooms in there and you have an instant centerpiece.
Your arrangement of florals likely evokes a feeling of natural beauty. Little needs to be added to your bouquet in order for it to stand out as much as you will be! For a simple accent, just add a bit of twine. If you don’t want your stems bare, simply wrap a bit of twine around the bottom for the perfect accent. It doesn’t matter if it’s perfectly wrapped or a little messy – both looks are appropriate for a wedding.
I’m loving this idea from Color Your Life: send your guests home with cookies wrapped in twine! Your loved ones will love these tiny treats and they’re super easy to DIY if you’re on a budget. Simply stack the cookies of your choice and tie them up with some twine!
