How about saying “I do” in a rustic winery? This setting is perfect for formal nuptials or for a casual vintage wedding. You don’t have to live in Napa Valley to consider this romantic venue. Check out ones in your area and choose the vineyard that best fits your needs and wedding theme. You and your guests could even take part in a wine tasting and cheers to the newlyweds before the reception begins!
On the water
Boat houses and even boats create a calming and absolutely beautiful setting for nuptials. And there is so much you can do with a nautical wedding theme! (Just be sure you’re not prone to seasickness!). Jim and Pam from “The Office” opted to exchange vows on a boat at beautiful Niagara Falls – and even though I know it’s only a TV show, it was so romantic!
A barn is the perfect location for rustic and outdoorsy nuptials. A barn can be dressed up with sparkling lights and romantic decor for a naturally beautiful and enchanted open space to tie the knot. This allows the bride and groom to get married in a very personal and unique location. Find a small more intimate barn or a larger space for a bigger wedding party. Dress it up or down to fit the theme of the nuptials and the personality of you and your groom.
Granted, this location may be a little chilly, but really does beautifully envelop a classic wedding element: white. This chapel, located in Finland, is made of ice and snow and decorated by various ice sculptures. One of the coolest (no pun intended) parts of this venue is that the Aurora Borealis lights up the sky creating a beauty unmatched by other locations. You could even opt to take a reindeer sleigh in place of a getaway car – does it get more unique than that? Perfect for a Christmas wedding!
