If you’re having a vintage wedding, we’ve already given tons of advice about various save the dates, wedding invitations, stationery and decor ideas to make your day picture-perfect. While that advice will never stop rolling out, I thought it could be fun to give you a few vintage-inspired wedding favor ideas to add in that extra final touch.
I came across a pretty hip article in Offbeat Bride blog, in which blogger Megan Finley shared a whole series of vintage and retro-style favor ideas. One of her ideas I really love and I wanted to make sure to share with you! Basically, it is a combination skeleton key and bottle opener, and while it might be difficult to find something like this in stores, it is possible to make these guys yourself. Keys are a really prevalent detail for vintage-styled occasions, which you can clearly see in all our fabulous key invites like this Vintage Key Invitation. When looking for key-inspired favor ideas, you could go even simpler and get key rings for your guests that are personalized with you and your partner’s initials, like our Square Rhinestone Key Chain.
To deliver your favors to your guests, it’s always fun to dress ’em up in little packages or boxes. To tailor your favor packaging to your vintage style, you could use something like our Burlap Favor Bags, which are perfect for vintage-rustic occasions! For a more vintage-retro feel, take a look at our Polka Dot Organza Favor Bags in Black. Delightful polka dot designs just sing of vintage in my book! Another great idea from Offbeat Bride blog would be to use old-style, recycled cans and jars as packaging for your favors. You could consider picking up a bunch of Mason jars, filling them will colorful bubble gum balls and tying your key chain or key bottle opener around the lid of the jar. I can’t think of anything more delightful than that!
