I found one particular color palette option on Wedding Chicks blog that absolutely blew me away. The couple embraced all the glitter you’d expect to see at a New Year’s extravaganza with sparkling silver and glitter, and then tied in a cool turquoise blue color to really give the occasion an elegant feel. The bride donned a stunning white dress with hints of silver sparkle, and the groom sported a sleek turquoise skinny tie. The centerpieces were given a marvelous glittering glow.
Another wedding color palette I came across that seemed to be particularly fitting for a New Year’s Eve wedding is, well … all of them! A separate post on the Wedding Chicks blog showcased a fabulous wedding photo shoot from a Texas couple that is simply overflowing with color. The bride wore a cropped, fun and flirty white dress with these absolutely adorable pink flats. She created this fabulous archway of paper flowers with every color of the rainbow represented, and I couldn’t imagine something more bright and full of personality. At a time of year when colorful fireworks dot the sky, a multi-colored wedding palette seems to fit just perfectly.
You can take any wedding color palette to New Year’s celebration ready. I am a big fan of adding in silver accents to give a palette an extra elegant feel. You don’t have to just stick with silver. I love all the metallics! You could also use a rich hue like royal purple or deep tangerine.
