Maple vodka and espresso dessert cocktail
I found this recipe online from Saveur. To make this cozy treat, you will need two ounces of Vermont Gold Maple Vodka, one ounce of espresso, one ounce of Kahlua and one ounce of heavy cream. This drink is super easy to make, too! All you have to do is throw a handful of ice into a shaker, and combine all the ingredients in there. Then, a little shake, shake, shake later and you can pop off the top and strain the contents into chilled martini glasses.
I almost forgot the fabulous finishing touch to take this cocktail to the next level! Take a little bit of nutmeg and sprinkle it on the top of the drink. You could even go all out and pick up some fresh nutmeg to grate yourself! The little extra sprinkle adds great flavor to your cocktail and works as an eye-pleaser as a garnish.
Iced coffee frappe with cotton candy
Leave it to DIY goddess Martha Stewart to come up with a recipe gem like this one! This coffee drink is generally non-alcoholic but you can add in a bit of Kahlua or flavored vodka for your over 21 guests looking for a little extra kick in theirs.
To make this drink, blend three-quarters cup of milk with three-quarters cup of cold water, an instant-coffee frappe mix you can find at any store and three tablespoons of sugar in a blender until all the ingredients are combined. This recipe serves three, but if you throw in a few ounces of Kahlua, you might be able to serve four (four adults, that is!). If you top each glass with white cotton candy, the presentation will be outstanding and each sip will be sweetened!
