I do see the attraction of Vegas. There’s the Strip with endless party scenes, casinos and sparkling show venues. If you are going to have your friends and family head out to Vegas for a unique and fun destination wedding, my favorite wedding invitation is our Loving Las Vegas Invitation because it essentially turns your invitation into the renowned Welcome to Las Vegas sign. It is simple and tasteful, too, so it will be suitable to send out to all of your loved ones.
I say, if you are going to have your nuptials in Vegas, you simply have to do something a little crazy or weird. For example, have a shotgun wedding! Seriously, you can do that in Vegas! The “Gun Store on Tropicana” in Las Vegas actually offers wedding services that are based on a shotgun wedding theme! Okay, so it might be difficult to get my bride to agree to getting married in the middle of gunfire … but hey, I’m in! I’ll try anything once.
You might have a little more luck seeing eye-to-eye with your partner for this idea: get married in Paris … well, Paris, Las Vegas. They offer ceremonies for couples to get married on the observation deck of the Eiffel Tower! It’s pretty much as good as getting married on the real thing in Paris, France, right?
I even found some couples have gone all out and had outrageous themes for their weddings in Vegas. Some of the most bizarre (but kind of awesome) themes I came across include a zombie wedding (yes, the couple looked the part!), Shrek, Star Trek, Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings! I could totally see myself dressing up as Frodo! Vegas gives people the opportunity to do even crazier weddings, such as skydiving weddings, cliff-hanging nuptials and even saying “I do” under water!
