So now I will break down the 10 top reasons why my save the dates are the best … just kidding! That would be a bit overkill. But take a look at the save the date design that I came up with using our Design It Yourself tool. I made a wonderful destination wedding save the date and got really creative with it while still keeping it simple.
The bold orange background and colorful hibiscus flower graphic makes this save the date design absolutely perfect for a destination wedding. Personally, I think my couple looks even happier than Heidi’s (due to their killer card, of course), but I’ll leave that up to you to decide.
I do agree with Heidi that your save the dates don’t need to be overflowing with information. In fact, most save the dates do not have much information at all. Their purpose is to really alert your guests to all of the essential details. In my case, the date and the location for the destination wedding are really the most important! Plus, I didn’t even think it was necessary to put last names on the save the dates – the picture should be enough to let your guests know who is getting married, even if they aren’t the best detectives around.
What do you think about my Design It Yourself Save the Date? You like it the best? How flattering! Leave a comment and let us know your thoughts!
