If I were to get married again, I would take a large chalkboard sign and fill it with color and curly cued writing. For an extra touch, I would add in a few illustrations. If you are looking for a more traditional and elegant way to bring in the trend, I would stick to white colored chalk and use lettering that is more in line with calligraphy – thank you, college art classes!
Take a look at our fabulous chalkboard wedding invitations. The picture is a perfect demonstration of the various styles that can work with the chalkboard design. For vintage weddings, the Old School Save the Date Card works perfectly and will bring a retro flair to your big day. The Drawing on Faith Invitation would be great for a wedding that merges your modern style and your traditional faiths. And the Chalky Vines Invitation
uses the chalkboard design in a more subtle way by using colors to take your wedding invitations from classic black and white to a fresh variation of chalkboard chic.
