Wedding
Invitations
The primary function of the wedding invitation is to inform guests
of the date, time, place and hosts of the wedding ceremony, and it
may also mention the location and time of the reception. The
wording, lettering style and ink color you choose are also
important when establishing and carrying through your wedding
theme.

Envelopes
Unlined inner envelopes and blank outer envelopes are included FREE
with all Dawn wedding invitations.
Lined Inner Envelopes - Enhance the colors of your wedding
invitation or ink selection by ordering inner envelopes lined with
a beautiful color for a small additional charge.
Printed Outer Envelopes - To save addressing time and ensure the
return of undeliverable invitations, Dawn recommends having your
return address printed on the outer envelope flaps. The lettering
style will match your invitations.
Envelope Seals - Add the finishing touch to your outer envelopes
with elegant seals available in a variety of designs to match your
theme.
Calligraphy Pens - Address your envelopes with style! Our marking
pens with angled tips give your handwriting the elegant look of
calligraphy.

Map Cards
Help guests easily find the way to your wedding and reception with
a printed map card enclosed with each wedding invitation. The map
cards are available in white and ecru to match the paper color of
your invitations and keep your ensemble beautifully coordinated.
For best results, draw your map on unlined white paper with a
black, fine-line marker.

Enclosure
Cards
Enclosure cards, as their name implies, are enclosed with the
wedding invitation to provide more information for your guests.
These include informal notes, at home cards, reception cards and
response cards described below. Each Dawn invitation has enclosure
cards of the same paper, colors and design elements for a perfect
match. We recommend printing your enclosure cards in the same ink
color and lettering style as your wedding invitations for a
beautiful ensemble.

Informal
Notes
These versatile cards may be ordered two ways to suit your pre- and
post-wedding correspondence. Informals printed with your names or
married couple monogram on the front are most often used as thank
you notes for wedding gifts. They are also ideal for writing
personal notes long after the wedding - so be sure to order plenty!
Many brides order a supply of informals personalized with their
maiden name or monogram to use as shower thank you notes and for
other correspondence before the wedding. Matching envelopes are
included with all informals.

At Home
Cards
These cards are enclosed in your invitations to inform guests of
your new address and when you will be moving there. At home cards
have the same item numbers and prices as reception cards in the
price grids. Envelopes are not necessary.

Reception
Cards
Reception cards, tucked in with your wedding invitations, ask your
guests to participate in the celebration following your wedding
ceremony. Reception cards are also perfect as invitations to such
other wedding-related events as a brunch on the morning of the
wedding, a gift-opening party, a family photo session, etc.
Envelopes are not necessary.

Response
Cards
For accurate reception planning, response cards are essential. The
cards are printed with the date to respond by, a line for guests to
fill in their names and a line for guests to indicate how many of
those invited will be attending the wedding reception. Response
cards include envelopes printed with your return address FREE. Both
are enclosed in your invitations. Guests return cards in the
envelopes, letting you know whether or not they will attend.
