Use the British spelling of “honour” requesting their presence

Use full names and formal titles

Spell out dates and years

Not this: The 25th of October, 2016

Spell out all numbers except house and apartment numbers

This: 123 First Avenue

Not this: 123 1st Ave.

Spell out times

This: Four o’clock in the afternoon

Not this: 4:00 p.m.

Use line breaks instead of commas

This: The twenty-fifth of October

Two thousand sixteen

Not this: The twenty-fifth of October, Two thousand sixteen
