DESCRIPTION

The elegance of this shimmering, chocolate invitation will leave a stunning impression on your guests. The double gate-fold invitation is held closed with 5/8" satin ribbon and opens to reveal your wording. Your last name initial is printed on the cover. Ribbon is included. Choose from black, powder pink, claret, gold, ecru, mocha, olive, ginger, burgundy or white. Due to the color of this invitation, imprint color is limited to flat gold or white foil only.

      The entire invitation is very beautiful. Two things to consider when selecting this invitation: it needs extra postage and the ribbons are a little challenging to tie.

        I asked to have the extra flaps cut off and they did but there was a gap in the center. It was not able to be recut to make it any better so they offered me a discount which I would of rather had it cut perfect but it was out of my control. The ribbon color didn't match the print color so I bought my own but I will use the old ribbon for something else in the wedding. Everyone who I spoke to was very nice and helpful.

              I worte my previous review without the knowledge of the following...these invites along with the additional items (i have a response card/envelope and a reception card) will cost about $1.95 per invite to send to your friends and family. This is due to the ribbon causing a bump and not being able to fit through the machine that reads the stamp...if I knew this ahead of time i would have been able to make a more money conscious decision. Don't get me wrong though, i love the invites but i do not want to spend almost the same amount on postage! I am going to try to get away with .65 cent stamps (this price is based on just weight of the invitation completley put together) and see if any of them come back to me, i will post again once i know. Hope this helps.

              The only thing that was annoying was having to punch out 4 tiny holes where the ribbon goes. we got ours early enough so we didn't have to do it in a short amount of time so it wasn't that bad but i wasn't expecting to have to do that. I expected to have to fold at tie the ribbons.

              The material is really good so it makes keeping the fold of the invitation and the reception card quite difficult, you have to put something heavy on the to keep them closed tightly but i think it was worth it, i love them!

              I used this product along with the reception and response cards. It turned out beautiful but it was a lot to put it all together. The only big downfall was the holes punched for the ribbon are not punched all the way through. I found that using a pencil worked fine to pop out the extra paper. Other than that little set back, this invitation is great. It is pretty and very classy.
