Inviting all of your friends and family to your wedding reception may not be possible due to wedding budget constraints. Although it is considered an etiquette faux pas, some couples do choose to invite some wedding guests to the dance only.
We have mixed feelings about this practice. We love how practical it is and it does allow more friends and family to celebrate with you, but it might be offensive to some and it could be awkward if your reception runs late.
