Best Uses
I used these invitations for our wedding in December 2012. They will help to set the perfect atmosphere for a winter, woodsy wedding. The quality was great and I was happy with the final outcome.

Rustic Simplicity
By Jeff and Jen

After searching literally hundreds of invitations, we chose these because they had the best balance of affordability, rustic charm, and classic simplicity. The printing is high-quality, cardstock is heavy and secure, and the graphic pinecone is very beautiful. This is definitely not a "wow" invitation, but it has an understated elegance. We added a standard print-at-home ecru business card with our website information and other than it not being on textured paper, the color matched beautifully. There were only two major complaints with these. First, the rsvp card is folded with a blank interior, which I can only guess is for guests to write a note inside because no other brides I have spoken with or found online knew why it was folded when all the info was on the front and there was no way to print inside. We put small cut paper flower embellishments inside the fold and placed them half-way inside the return envelope to surprise guests when they removed the card. We weren't sure how that would turn out, but the response we've received from guests so far has been positive. And our second complaint was that the envelopes are awful. They open on one end rather than down a long side, so there is no room or no way logistically to add a belly band or twine or tags or any other embellishments without them coming off when being pulled from the envelope, and the envelope is a very tight fit. We only had the invitation, response card and envelope and a thin business card inside and it was extremely snug. I can't imagine being able to fit reception cards, directions, accomodations, or even tissue paper in there with what we had. (With the inserts we had, it made the envelope rigid so the postage was .65) If those things aren't a concern for you then you will probably not have any issues with this set. This is a very nice, classy, rustic invitation that I was pleased to send as our first wedding impression.
